'Back-2-School Drive', Northern Cyprus.

Greetings MaduCarers,

Charity they say begins at home. However, it should never end there. In line with our motto, 'globally minded, locally driven', our COO who is currently in the Mediterranean recently identified a need in the Northern Cyprus region. In addition to our ongoing efforts in Sub-Saharan Africa, we felt a strong push to respond to this need.

I have always emphasized that our strength and effectiveness are amplified by our community partnerships. In line with this, we welcomed a new partnership with SOS Children's Village in Northern Cyprus. SOS is part of a global service organization with branches in 135 countries (www.soscocukkoyu.org). Their efforts in Northern Cyprus are focused on caring for underserved families in need and this mandate strongly resonated with us.

As we all know, the pandemic was an economic insult which was felt globally. However, as the global economy slowly bounces back, struggling families continue to slide further into irrecoverable poverty and persistent suffering. In partnership with SOS, MaduCare Inc. was able to support the children's village back to school campaign. As part of our effort, we provided school supplies including school bags, exercise books, art and craft supplies, clothing, footwear, and other much needed items. But most of all, we reminded the kids that they were valid, loved, and never alone.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Northern Cyprus team under the leadership of Mr. Chukwudi G. Maduka. Your passion and commitment to our mission continue to catalyze tremendous growth, kudos!

Although the need is great and resources are scarce, we'll continue to strive in our efforts to respond to these ever-growing needs. We remain grateful for the love and support from all our partners, thank you as always!

Be well, and stay safe.

Sincerely,

Peter Maduka

Director, MaduCare Inc.
